No-Sew Crochet Cloud Cutie: Quick and Easy Handmade Project

Materials

6mm / J / 10 Hook

#6 Chunky Blanket Yarn in White

12 inch piece of pink yarn (for cheeks)

12 inch piece of blue yarn (for mouth)

10mm Safety Eyes

a large handful of polyfill stuffing

Stitch Markers

Yarn Needle

Scissors

Instructions:

Ch 12.

Round 1: Sc in 2nd ch from the hook and in next 9 chs. (3 sc) all in the last ch. Working on the opposite side of the chain, sc in the next 9 chs. (2 sc) in the last ch. Sl st to the top of the first st. (24)

Round 2: Ch 1. (2 sc) in the same space as the sl st. sc in the next 9 sts. (2 sc), sc, (2 sc), sc in the next 9 sts, (2 sc), sc, sl st to the top of the first st. (28)

Round 3: Ch 1. Sc in the same space as the sl st. *Skip the next st, (5 dc), skip next st, sc* repeat from * 6 more times. Leave out the sc on the last repeat and sl st to top of first sc. Finish off. (42)

Repeat to make a 2nd cloud but do not cut the yarn and finish off! Add face details to the 2nd cloud.

Face Details:

Place safety eyes on lower part of the cloud between rows 1 and 2, about 3 stitches between. Embroider cheeks about 1 stitch below each eye, 1 stitch across. Stitch mouth on face, between cheeks, 1 or 2 stitches wide.

Stitching it Together:

Turn first cloud right side down and put 2nd cloud on top. Holding the 2 clouds together, you will work through both layers to sew the 2 clouds together.

Ch 1. Holding the 2 cloud pieces together and working through both layers,* sc in each stitch around, stopping along the way to add some stuffing, then continuing around. Finish off.
