What you will Need:
- Medium weight yarn in whatever colors you like (I used 2 colors. Color A is main body of sweater and Color B is the trim color)
- Crochet Hook (G)
- Yarn Needle
- Scissors
- Button, stickers, pompoms ,and other stuff to decorate!!
- Ribbon
- Needle and Thread
- 4 Stitch marker (in 2 Different Colors is best)
Abbreviations:
Ch: chain
Slst: slip stitch
St: stitch
Sc: single crochet
dec: decrease: 2 single crochet stitches together
ins: increase: 2 single crochet stitches in a same stitch
[]:Repeat work as directed

Starting with Color A (main body of sweater)
Rnd 1: 16 ch, slst into first chain to form a ring. Ch 1, sc in first chain and in each chain around (16sc)
Rnd 2: [sc, inc]x8 (24sc)
Rnd3: [2sc, inc]x8 (32sc)
Rnd4: [3sc, inc]x8 (40sc)
Note: In Round 5, we will simply be doing 40 sc. But we will be placing stitch markers as we go!
Rnd 5: 6 sc then place stitch marker in that 6th sc. 9 sc then place a stitch marker of the same color in that 9th sc. 11 sc then place a stitch marker (in a 2nd color if you have it) in that 11th sc. then 9 sc and place a stitch marker in that 9th sc (in the 2nd color if you have it), then sc 5 in the last 5 sc and sl st into the first sc. You should end up with 40 stitches with stitch markers marking were the sleeves will go!

In the picture, I used 2 different color of stitch markers so that you can clearly see where the same colors will come together when we fold the sweater and leave spaces for the sleeves.
Rnd 6: 5sc, then fold the sweater so that the same color stitch markers are together. skip all of the stitches that are marked and between the markers. sc in next stitch after the same color stitch marker (see picture below)

turn your work so that you are working on the other side of the sweater,then 9 more sc into the next 9 stitches. Once again, fold sweater so that the same color stitch markers are together. skip all of the stitches that are marked and between the markers. sc in next stitch after the same color stitch marker and in the last 4 sc.

Rnd 7: 20 sc around
Rnd 8: [4sc,inc]x4 (24sc)
Rnd 9-Rnd 12: 24 sc around
R13: [4sc,dec]x4 (20sc)
fasten off and weave in ends
With Color B: (For Trim)
Rnd 14: 9sc, 2sc in 10th sc. chain 9, sl st into last sc made.

2sc into the next stitch on the body
9 sc into the each stitches
Finish the round with slipstitch, Fasten off and weave in ends
Sleeve: (For both)
with Color A
Rnd1: 10sc
Rnd2; 9sc (1dec sc )
Rnd 3:-RND5: 9sc
Rnd 6: 8sc (dec sc)
Rnd 7-Rnd 9: 8sc
fasten off and weave in ends For Trim
With Color B (white)
Rnd 10: 8sc
fasten off and weave in ends
Neck:
Now insert your hook on the back side of the neck for trim
16 Sc, fasten off weave the ends
Attach the button at the lower side of the body with thread and needle take yarn needle and insert ribbon on the neck near Rnd2 on both sides
