Chevron Blanket

This chevron blanket is made with all single crochets so it’s a great beginner project! The finished size is 40 inches by 56 inches.

For this pattern you will need:  

Size 4 medium weight yarn (I used 3 skeins of RedHeart Super Saver Ombre in the color  Anthracite)

Size J crochet hook 

Scissors

Yarn Needle 

Instructions:

Chain 183

R1 sc in second chain from hook *sc in each of the next 14 chains, 3 sc in next chain, sc in each of the next 14 chains, skip 1 chain, repeat from * across.  End with one sc in last chain.  Chain 1 turn.  

R2 (Working in back loops only for this row and every row!)  sc in first sc, skip next sc *1 sc in each of the next 14 sc, 3 sc in next sc, sc in each of the next 14 sc, skip 2 sc, repeat from * across.  End with skipping one sc then sc in the last stitch.  chain 1, turn.  

Repeat R2 for a total of 132 rows.
